Southern Westchester BOCES Center for Career Services' monthly e-newsletter, Careers Central, produced by Director of Communications Brian Howard, was recognized with a third-place Award of Merit.

"I am proud of the work of our talented and growing School Communications Team, whether it is officially recognized in this way or not," Mr. Howard said. "Still, it is gratifying any time our peers evaluate the support we provide to our school districts and BOCES centers as being among the best in New York State. For that I am thankful."

Staff members in the Office of Public Information at Southern Westchester BOCES are members of both NYSPRA  and NSPRA. The organizations represent school districts, BOCES and independent school communications providers across the state and country. They are dedicated to promoting effective  communications with school communities, including students, parents, staff, residents, partners and all stakeholders.
