Blueprint for Excellence: Southern Westchester BOCES Strategic Plan 2025-2028

Charting a course for the future of our BOCES

At its May 14, 2025, meeting, the Southern Westchester BOCES Board of Education adopted a 2025-2028 Strategic Plan, a vision for the future of our organization we call a Blueprint for Excellence.

This 24-page document was developed through conversations and workshops that involved stakeholders throughout our BOCES and component school district region over much of the past year. The result is a road map intended to actively guide us on a path of growth, service and excellence in the coming years. It defines who we are as an educational institution, establishes our mission, vision and core values, and looks to the future with an eye specifically to operations and management as well as optimizing the staff and student experience.
