Little SIS for SWBOCES Teachers
Welcome to Little SIS
We’re excited to announce that Southern Westchester BOCES is now using Little SIS Premium, a product that makes teacher’s lives easier by automatically syncing your official class rosters to Google Classroom classes. This is a new system that sets up your Google Classroom Rosters by taking your assigned students in eSD and enrolling them into a created Google Classroom linked to your courses. Teachers will need to review the created courses once they receive an email from LittleSIS and choose to link them to an existing Classroom or let the system create a whole new Google Classroom. You can rename your classes, merge multiple classes together or you can choose to create and manage your own Google Classroom without using LittleSIS.
Getting Started with Little SIS for Teachers
Teacher Review:
- Review rosters for eSD-assigned classes before the Google Classroom is provisioned
- Accept, decline, or merge eSD-assigned classes and create the Classroom
- Link a eSD-assigned class to one of your existing ACTIVE Google Classrooms
How does it work?
Once we have finished assigning classes to you for review, you will receive an email containing a link to Teacher Review. Use the emailed link to go to your personal Teacher Review dashboard.
You will see the new SIS-assigned classes on the left and your current, active Google Classrooms on the right. Active classes will be green if you are the primary teacher and gray if you are a co-teacher.
You will then be able to:
- review each roster,
- accept or decline assigned classes,
- link a new class to an existing one,
- or merge two newly assigned classes together.
As soon as you finalize your choices as Scheduled Actions, your Google Classrooms will be created/linked and any students in the course will be rostered to your Classroom. Your roster will be regularly synced to maintain consistency with the official student data in the SIS.

There are a number of resources to help you with using Teacher Review.
First, inside Teacher Review itself, there is an interactive guide that will give you a tour and offer tips, including videos, for how to use Teacher Review. The guide will open in a popup window the first time you log in. Later, you can find the guide in the bottom left corner, under the Little SIS Premium logo.
If you just want a reminder of your options but not a whole tour, click on the at the top right of the window.
