Ten students from Southern Westchester BOCES’ Center for Career Services are among those whose art will be on display at the Katonah Museum of Art for much of the month of May.

The students, who are all seniors in the Advertising & Graphic Design program, will have their work featured in KMA’s Young Artists 2026 exhibit, which will be on view from May 3-24, 2026. The exhibition, now in its 43rd year, highlights the creative achievements of students from 40 high schools across New York and Connecticut.

According to the museum, there will be more than 350 works featured that span a wide range of media, scale, concepts, and artistic approaches. The exhibit is open to the public and free of charge, although donations are welcome.

The program includes a graphic design workshop in which students develop the exhibition’s signature marketing image. Museum staff, trustees, the volunteer team, and participating students voted to select a design by Lakeland High School’s Hailey Nazario  as the winning image.

The following Career Services students will also have their work featured: Zenobia Earl, Sofia D’Erasmo, Nathaniel Londin, Tristan Welsh, Thomas Fields, Jemima Hernandez-Rodich, Jaylen Inniss, Ollie Lockard, Dustin Sloat, and Nicolas Valencia.

“The Young Artists program is always one of the most rewarding moments of our year,” said Margaret Adasko, the museum’s Curator of Education. “It’s inspiring to see the students’ creativity and unique perspectives. We are honored to showcase these young artists and hope this encourages future involvement in the arts.”
