Central Administration
Ronald L. Smalls, the Chief Executive Officer and District Superintendent
of Southern Westchester BOCES, serves both the New
York State Education Department and the 35
public school districts within this supervisory district. He is also
the local and regional representative of the Commissioner of Education
for the implementation of education law, the Commissioner's regulations
and the policies of the New York State Board of Regents. He is frequently
asked to represent the State Education Department on special assignments.
His management team, which consists of a Deputy District Superintendent
and three Assistant Superintendents, provides leadership in the fulfillment
of the SWBOCES Strategic Plan. They are:
