Meet new Nursing Program Coordinator Bridget Ciliberto
Veteran nurse and classroom instructor Bridget Ciliberto found her calling at SWBOCES and has been named Practical Nursing Program Coordinator.
Every Thanksgiving Southern Westchester BOCES employees "fill the van" for those in need. Actually, they do it twice.
Earlier this week, staff at our our Mamaroneck Avenue, Harrison, campus raised $720 for Thanksgiving provisions for families served by Westhab of White Plains. Well, our colleagues at our Administrative Offices at Berkley Drive in Rye Brook, led by Treasurer Christine Jansen, stepped up as well, donating $735 to buy holiday meal fixings for another six families served by Westhab.
Each family will receive three boxes packed with a Turkey, a disposable roasting pan and the usual trimmings like gravy, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, stuffing mix and frozen pies but also "extras" like chocolate syrup, instant pudding, hot cocoa, Lindor Truffles, and mini marshmallows. In all, some 40 different items were included.
Thank you to all SWBOCES employees who supported this annual effort, and thank you to Westhab for providing this opportunity to support our community. We wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!
