  • To identify resources helpful to immigrants

  • To express personal immigration experiences

  • To recognize the significance of Native Americans to United States culture

  • Immigration Law and how to find a lawyer
  • Getting a driver’s license
  • Becoming a citizen
  • Challenges and opportunities afforded by Immigration

Suggested Activities

  • Create a time line depicting which immigrant group arrived in the U.S. at what time and the cultural contributions of each
  • Student presentations regarding blending their two cultures
  • Citizenship test preparation
