2004-2005 Southern Westchester BOCES Advisory Council Summary
of Services
Purpose: Enhance collaborative efforts amongst our Assistant
Superintendents of Instruction (or other representatives) as well
as to keep them consistently informed regarding issues of instruction,
curriculum and assessment. Geared toward Southern Westchester School
District Assistant Superintendents of Instruction and/or other representatives.
Dates for 2004-2005 Advisory Council Meetings:
- 10/8/04, 11/5/04, 12/10/04, 1/7/05, 2/4/05, 3/11/05, 4/8/05,
5/6/05.
Please save the dates in your calendar now! All meetings to
take place from 8:00-10:30am at 2 Westchester Plaza, Elmsford.
- Some sessions facilitated by outside consultants.
- Sessions to include sharing of New York State Education Department
information.
- Sessions will predominantly encompass sharing of best practice
regarding issues of curriculum, instruction, assessment, etc.
- Continuously updated Web-Site (password protected) for members.
- Advisory Council Electronic Listserv.
- Consistent sharing of information (SED and other).
- Fee for Membership: $3000 per district.
