In October, we host Parents’ Nights for current and prospective parents to see our state-of-the-art facilities, talk to teachers and administrators, and learn about the programs offered.
In April, an Open House showcases student demonstrations and projects. Visitations can be scheduled anytime during the school day by calling the Center. |

Enrollment
Students can enroll at SWBOCES through their school guidance counselors during sophomore year. No student can be denied access to career and technical education.
Scheduling and Credits
Students attend a Career and Technical center for 2-1/2 hours each school day for one or two years depending on the program selected. This scheduling allows students to complete other courses and to participate in extracurricular activities at their school districts.
A student earns 4 credits for each year of a Career and Technical education program. Most programs are 2-year programs for 8 credits toward graduation requirements. However, one-year options are offered for 4 credits.
