FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE RESOURCES

Southern Westchester BOCES recognizes that the financial investment in quality training is a concern to many students.  Here is a list of possible sources of assistance.  If you need more information, call the numbers listed below.

Office of Workforce Investment - located in many counties and localities, these agencies oversee the use of job training funds under the Workforce Investment Act.  The workforce Investment Offices are an excellent source of a wide variety of services for people who are looking for work or training.

VESID (Vocational and Educational Services to Individuals with Disabilities) -
VESID is a division of the New York State Education Department, and provides assistance to individuals with disabilities.  VESID offices are located in most counties.
