Designed as pre-apprenticeship or mechanic training, students successfully completing the program will be equipped to enter the field at the apprentice level. Air Conditioning/Refrigeration/Heating DAYTIME PROGRAM
Intensive adult training day program in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Heating. Designed as pre-apprenticeship or mechanic training, students successfully completing the program will be equipped to enter the field at the apprentice level. EPA approved refrigerant transition/recovery certification exam (Core, I, II, III & Universal) included. Instruction includes: Introduction to refrigeration and A/C theory; identification/function of electrical components, controls, valves, compressors and evaporators; system assembly, trouble-shooting, parts repair and replacement. Air handlers, A/C systems and ice machines; heating systems theory and installation (gas & oil fired). Boiler installation and repair; oil burner/heating systems trouble-shooting, repair and installation. The minimum tested reading level necessary to enroll in this course is 7.0. Books, certification test, tool kit and supplies included in tuition. Eye Safety Required.

Construction Trades - MODULAR PROGRAM
Are you looking for a career in the Construction Trades? Are you a homeowner who wants to save thousands being a serious do-it-yourselfer? Get ready for employment in a wide variety of construction trades or make your house the home of your dreams. Either way, get hands-on experience in the building trades with this modularized multi-trade course. The minimum tested reading level necessary to enroll in this training course is 6.0. Eye Safety Required. Tuition includes materials. Limit of 12 students.

Automotive Service Technician
Want a career that's always in demand? Become an automotive service technician. Dealers and private shops are seeking qualified entry-level people. Learn the basic systems and move on to maintenance, trouble-shooting and repair. You will practice your skills in our fully equipped shop with our professional mechanic/instructor. Training includes shop safety, using lifts and shop equipment, diagnostics, lubrication service, brake, exhaust, suspension & steering, electrical and cooling systems and engine "tune-up" service.
